Deeds (2002)

Adam Sandler as Longfellow Deeds hails from Mandrake Falls - filmed in downtown New Milford, Connecticut. The film featured historic Bank Street as well as the municipal airport, in addition to a few interior locations. The production took over the entire downtown business district for almost two weeks, including creating a winter set in the middle of July.

Director Rob Zombie wanted to film most of Halloween II in northern locations, but due to inclement snowy weather, the production began in Georgia. But when the weather improved, the production came north, allowing the film to be picked up and completed close to Zombie's home.
